About: What Happens while your puppy is with us? MICROCHIP Stacy administers a Microchip in the withers area when your puppy is between 2 and 3 weeks of age. This is proof of ownership and excellent way to reunite you with your dog if s/he is ever lost! As of 2019 We have upgraded our microchipping system to the 15 digit chip that allows you to travel anywhere with your dog! We are using the Microchip ID & Buddy ID Micriochip system where your microchip registration is paid by US! So it is INCLUDED in the price of your dog, you just send in your contact information along with the microchip number of the chip Stacy implants into your dog! VACCINATIONS! @ 6 weeks Stacy administers the core vaccine covering Distemper, Adenovirus, Parvo & Parainfluenza and a second series at 8 weeks including Leptospirosis and Corona Virus prior to going home; IF your puppy is in our custody longer we will administer the next core vaccines. Other added vaccines are available upon request and for a small fee. We offer H3N8, Bordatella, Lyme disease etc for $50 each; discounts available for multiple extra vaccines. DE-WORMING Stacy Deworms puppies starting at 2-3 weeks of age, using Pyrantel Pamoate, cocciguard, Safeguard (@ 6 week) & sulfadimethoxine. These are all just preventative, worms and parasites can come from stress and environmental changes as well as the travel home so these things can recur, they are not always noticed through a fecal sample here because we are constantly treating for them as a preventative but they can come from anywhere so be sure to consistently take a fecal sample into your vet once you have puppy in your home to be sure to catch and recurrence of them.
